I ask that you abide in me
by water's morning light,
And Oh, your presence ripples sweet,
increasing my delight.
My Lord, your wonder fills me so,
please come and take your place
Within the temple of my heart
that I may know your grace.
To feel your glow upon my "self",
within - where your eyes see,
Reflected on the water, Lord
I find the face of thee.
One more step. . .and closer still,
reflects the water's blue
To cast my crown & sing my praise,
for I'll abide with you.
My Word is given to you,
my Spirit speaks your name.
My Joy will keep increasing. . .
and I'LL never be the same.
